Data Deletion Instructions

LeadAster provides a web-based platform that allows businesses to manage and communicate with their own customers using their WhatsApp Business accounts. We are committed to protecting privacy and providing a clear and transparent process for requesting the deletion of user data.

1. Scope of this policy

These data deletion instructions apply to LeadAster users (business customers) who have registered and used our platform, including integrations with the WhatsApp Business Platform via Meta-approved providers.

2. Data that may be stored

Depending on how the platform is used, LeadAster may store or process the following types of data:

• Business account information (company name, contact name, email address)
• Authentication and account-related data
• WhatsApp Business identifiers (such as WABA ID, phone number ID)
• Message metadata and/or message content, if enabled by the customer
• Technical logs required for platform security, monitoring, and operation

3. How to request data deletion

To request deletion of your data from LeadAster systems, please submit a request using one of the methods below:

• Send an email to: contact@leadaster.com

Please include the following information in your request to allow us to verify your identity:

• Registered email address
• Company name
• WhatsApp Business phone number or account identifier (if applicable)

4. What happens after a request is submitted

After receiving a valid data deletion request:

• The request will be reviewed and verified
• All associated personal and business data stored by LeadAster will be permanently deleted
• Active WhatsApp Business integrations will be disconnected

5. Deletion timeframe

Data deletion requests are processed and completed within 30 days from the date of verification.

6. Data retention exceptions

Certain data may be retained temporarily where required to:

• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
• Resolve disputes or enforce agreements
• Maintain security, fraud prevention, or audit logs

Any retained data is securely stored and deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes.

7. Relationship to WhatsApp and Meta

LeadAster acts as a platform provider enabling businesses to communicate with their customers via WhatsApp Business. Requests submitted through this page apply only to data processed or stored by LeadAster. Data processed directly by Meta or WhatsApp is governed by their respective policies.
